African reality
The eye meets unknown shades of previously unregistered colors.. A new set of shapes and combinations; of different realities...
The stories are many and I try to capture the details in clicks of written light..
Images of another world..
The land is dry but the baobab grows tall.. Here where the ancient men come for their sacrifices; chicken's blood and some rice for the sick child at home..
The landscape combines the green palm trees with an explosion of moving colors and life.
Twenty shillings, twenty minutes and a new hair cut.. (And again the certainty of the privileged skin I live in, as I am offered the only one chair in the room..)
Muddy huts, dust and the killing
of time..
...taking care of one another...
At night.. candlelight group conversations in quiet alleys..
A few "jambos" (as we still glow in the dark)..
good night!!!
